Apprentice

Eduardo Ramos Machado is a Brazilian dancer, born in São Paulo and raised in Cruzeiro do Oeste, Paraná. He began his ballet training in Maringá through the Passantes e Pensantes project and later studied at Alma Bailarina on a full scholarship. He went on to join the Ensemble at Sanctuary of the Arts in Miami under the direction of Rafi Maldonado and Alice Arja. In 2024, he began his trainee program at American Repertory Ballet’s Princeton Ballet School, continuing in 2025 under the direction of Samantha Dunster. His repertoire includes The Nutcracker, Spirit of the Highlands, Giselle, Tarantella, Dancing Sinatra, and Dancing to Chopin. Eduardo has also appeared as a guest artist in Costa Rica, performing Festival and Festival of Flowers in Genzano.

Gillian Worek

Professional Dancer

Gillian Worek grew up in New Jersey training with Meg McMenamin at Country Roads Dance Academy as well as Julie Caprio at Ballet Technique. She is a graduate of Indiana University, where she received a BS in Ballet and an Outside Field in Psychology. As a student, she performed in Michael Vernon’s The Nutcracker, Jerome Robbins’ Fanfare, and Mark Morris’ Sandpaper Ballet, as well as various ballets choreographed by George Balanchine. Gillian spent two seasons as an Apprentice with the Sarasota Ballet under the direction of Iain Webb, where she performed works choreographed by Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir Peter Wright, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and Ricardo Graziano. In the summer of 2019, Gillian performed as a dancer in the opera, Nixon in China, choreographed and staged by Graham Lustig. She has performed as an Artist with Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater since 2020, where she performed works by Gabriel Chajnik, Paul Taylor, Blakeley White-McGuire, Andrea Weber. In 2024, she performed in Eamon Foley’s production of Sunday in the Park with George, as the color Orange. As an Artist with Ballet Rêve, Gillian performed in One Sweet Dream at the national festival Château en Fête in Dordogne, France. Gillian also became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in November 2024.
